About Doxylamine and Vitamin B6

Antiemetic & Gastroprokinetic

Uses

Symptoms of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women.

How to take it

Adults: For mild symptoms, 2 tab at bedtime. If needed 1 tab in morning, 1 tab in afternoon and 2 tab at bedtime. Children: Not recommended.

Side effects

Somnolence, dyspnoea, palpitation, tachycardia, vertigo, blurred vision, visual disturbances, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea, chest discomfort, fatigue, irritability, malaise, hypersensitivity, dizziness, headache, migraine, paresthesia, psychomotor hyperactivity, dis-orientation, insomnia, night-mares, dysuria, urinary retention, hyperhidrosis, pruritus, rash, rash maculopapular.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy: Controlled studies shown no risk. Lactation: Contraindicated or not recommended. Precautions: Asthma, increased intraocular pressure, narrow angle glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcer, pyloroduodenal obstruction and urinary bladder-neck obstruction.
