What it is used for

Essential hypertension and heart failure.

Dosage

Adults: Perindopril (as terbutylamine): Hypertension: 4 mg once in the morning, may be increased to 8 mg once in the morning, if necessary, after one month of treatment. Maximum 8 mg daily. Elderly: Initially 2 mg once in the morning for one month, then adjusted according to response. Maximum 8 mg daily. Hypertension, if used in addition to diuretic, or in cardiac decompensation or volume depletion: 2 mg once in the morning, may be increased according to response, if necessary, after one month of treatment.
