About Sulphanilamide, Vaginal

Gynaecological Anti-infective

Uses

Non-specific & mixed bacterial vaginitis, cervicitis haemophilus, saprophytic infections of vagina. Secondary bacterial infections in trichomonas and candidiasis. Postoperative and postpartum (for prevention of bacterial complications).

How to take it

Adults: One applicatorful intravaginally twice daily.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy: Not rated. Lactation: Caution advised or effect undetermined. Contraindications: Sulphonamide sensitivity.
