Uses

Diarrhoea.

How to take it

SUSPENSION: Adults: 10 mL after initial bowel movement, 10 mL after each subsequent bowel movements. Children: 6-12 yr, 5 mL after initial bowel movement, 5 mL after subsequent bowel movements. Should not be used for more than 2 days. TABLET/POWDER: Adults: 2 tab or 1 sachet after initial bowel movement, 2 tab after each subsequent bowel movements. Children: 6-12 yr, 1 tab after initial bowel movement, 1 tab after subsequent bowel movements. Should not be used for more than 2 days.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy: Not rated. Lactation: Caution advised or effect undetermined. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, presence of high fever. Precautions: The absorptive property of attapulgite may influence the gastro-intestinal absorption of other drugs. If diarrhoea persists consult physician.
