Uses

Herpes simplex keratitis.

How to take it

Adults & Children: Insert 1 cm into lower conjunctival sac five times daily at four hourly intervals. Continue for minimum 3 days after healing.

Side effects

Superficial punctate keratopathy, mild stinging, conjunctivitis.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy: No evidence of risk in humans. Lactation: Caution advised or effect undetermined. Precautions: Avoid contact lenses.
