About Progesterone

Uses

Infertility due to inadequate luteal phase. During in-vitro fertilization, where infertility mainly due to tubal, idiopathic or endometriosis linked sterility with normal ovulatory cycles. Secondary amenorrhoea.

How to take it

Infertility: Adults: 1 applicatorful daily starting after ovulation or on day 18-21 of cycle. During in-vitro fertilization: Adults: 1 applicatorful daily, continued for 30 days if evidence of pregnancy. Children: Not recommended.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Contraindications: Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, porphyria, breast cancer, lactation. Precautions: Severe hepatic impairment, pregnancy.
