Indications

Active immunisation against yellow fever.

Dosage

Adults & Children: Over 9 mth, single 0.5 mL dose by SC inj.

Adverse Effects

Inj site reaction, headache, myalgia, low-grade fever. Rarely encephalitis, allergic reactions.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Contraindications: Acute febrile illness, impaired immunity, symptomatic or asymptomatic HIV positive patients, hypersensitivity to eggs or chick protein. Pregnancy. Precautions: Acute infections.
