Indications
Age-related macular degeneration with predominantly classic subfoveal choroidal neovascularisation or occult subfoveal choroidal neovascularisation with ongoing disease progression. Subfoveal choroidal neovascularisation secondary to pathological myopia. See literature.

Administration
Administration should be done under the supervision of expert medical practitioners only. IV: The full infusion volume is administered IV over 10 min at a rate of 3 mL/min, using an appropriate syringe pump and in-line filter. Following injection with verteporfin, care should be taken to avoid exposure of skin or eyes to direct sunlight or bright indoor light for 5 days. Stability: Store verteporfin between 20°C-25°C (68°-77°F).
