Indications

For active immunization against typhoid.

Dosage

Adults: 0.5 mL by deep SC or IM injection. Children: Over 18 mth, same as adult. Under 18 mth, suboptimal response; assess risk of exposure.

Adverse Effects

Mild GI disturbances or a transitory exanthema may occur.

Interactions

Antibiotics, sulphonamides.
