Indications

For the nasal treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms.

Dosage

Adults: Starting with two sprays in each nostril once a day. If needed then the dose can be increased to two sprays in each nostril twice a day, or one spray in each nostril four times a day. After the desired result is obtained some patients may be maintained with one spray in each nostril once a day. Children: Below 12 yr, not recommended; above 12 yr, same as adult.

Adverse Effects

Headache, nasal irritation, dry mucous membranes, naso-sinus congestion, throat discomfort, sneezing and epistaxis.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Precautions: Should be used with caution in patients already receiving alternate-day prednisone treatment for any disease. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers. Children below 12 years.
