Indications

Alleviation of cough.

Dosage

Adults: 5-10 mL. Take three to six times daily. Children over 3 yrs: 5 mL.

Adverse Effects

Hypokalaemia, nausea and vomiting with large doses, drowsiness, acidosis, hyperventilation, thirst.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Contraindications: Impaired hepatic and renal function.
