Indications
Duodenal ulcer, gastritis.
Dosage
Adults: 800 mg to 1200 mg daily in 2-3 divided doses. Children: Not recommended.
Adverse Effects
Rash, constipation, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness, insomnia, headache, and dry mouth, heart rhythm abnormalities, internal bleeding, and suicidal thoughts or ideations.
Advice to Patient
Take with meals.

Bioavailability: 60%-70%. Half-life elimination: Approx. 24 hrs. Time to peak, plasma: 2 hr.
