Indications

Painful symptoms of arterial disease (painful cramp while walking). Parkinson's disease.

Dosage

Adults: 1 tab once daily, increasing to 1 tab twice daily in severe cases. Children: Not recommended.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Contraindications: Circulatory collapse and acute myocardial infarction.

Advice to Patient

Take at the end of a main meal. Do not chew or crush tablets, swallow whole.

Pharmacokinetics

Absorption: Rapid. Metabolism: Intense with two main metabolites. Half-life elimination: Biphasic. Initial phase: 1.7 hrs. Terminal phase: 6.9 hrs. Time to peak, plasma: Oral: 1 hr. Excretion: Urine (mainly; 60%). Faeces (25%).
