Indications

Nasal and sinus congestion, sinusitis and its associated pain, headache, sore throat, body aches, pain and fever.

Dosage

Tab/Caplet: Adults and children above 12 years: 2 caplets every 4 to 6 hrs as needed. Below 12 years: Not recommended. Powd: Adults: 5-10 mL syp or 1 sachet dissolve in hot water, max 4 sachets in a day. Children: Not recommended.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Precautions: Hypertension, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, angle closure glaucoma, phaeochromocytoma, an enlargement of the prostate gland, occlusive vascular disease (e.g. Raynaud's phenomenon). Hepatic and renal impairment.

Interactions

Beta blockers and other antihypertensive drugs, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (avoid), tricyclic antidepressants, digoxin, cardiac glycosides, other sympathomimetics.
