Indications

Tinea pedis(athlete's foot), tinea cruris(jock itch), tinea corporis(ring-worm).

Dosage

Tinea cruris(jock itch)/ Tinea corporis(ring-worm): Children and Adults: Apply once to twice daily to affected area for 2 wk. Tinea pedis(athlete's foot): Children and Adults: Apply once to twice daily to affected area for 1 mth.

Adverse Effects

Itching, erythema, stinging, dryness, transient burning, local irritation.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Pregnancy: No evidence of risk in humans. Lactation: Caution advised or effect undetermined. Contraindications: Not for ophthalmic use. Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes or vagina.

Advice to Patient

For external use only. Wash affected area with soap and water and dry thoroughly before applying medication. Do not cover with bandages or other occlusive dressings unless prescribed. Complete full course of treatment. If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not apply double dose. Contact prescriber if symptoms do not improve in 2-4 weeks. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, genital area and other mucous membranes.
