Indications

Allergic rhinitis, urticaria and other allergic conditions.

Dosage

Adults: 1-2 tab twice daily. Children: Under 5 yr, not recommended; over 5 yr, half adult dose.

Adverse Effects

Drowsiness, impaired reactions.

Interactions

Alcohol, CNS depressants.

Pharmacokinetics

Absorption: Completely absorbed from GI tract. Metabolism: Hepatic. Half-life elimination: 14 hrs. Time to peak, plasma: 2 hrs. Excretion: Faeces (mainly). Urine.
