Indications
All dermatophyte infections and skin infections due to candida species, moulds and other fungi. Onychomycosis, pityriasis versicolor.
Dosage
Adults & Children: Apply morning and/or evening. Lotion for hairy or hyperkeratotic areas.
Adverse Effects
Local irritation.
Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)
Precautions: Should not be used in ophthalmology.
Advice to Patient
For topical use only. Discontinue medication immediately and contact prescriber if irritation or sensitivity develops. Avoid contact with the eyes.
Pharmacokinetics
Absorption: Gel: Following single application to the skin, 4.2% of the dose is absorbed. Cream: Following single application to the skin, 6% of the dose is absorbed. Metabolism: Hepatic. Half-life elimination: 2-3 days. Excretion: Urine (64%). Faeces (36%).
