Indications

Treatment and prevention of seasonal allergic rhinitis, nasal congestion, treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis. Nasal polyps.

Dosage

Treatment and prevention of seasonal allergic rhinitis/nasal congestion/treatment of perennial allergic rhinitis: Adults & Children: Above 12 yr age: 2 spray/nostril daily. Treatment of seasonal/perennial allergic rhinitis/nasal congestion: Children: 2-11 yr age: 1 spray/nostril daily. Nasal polyps: Adults: 2 spray/nostril once daily or twice daily.

Adverse Effects

Pharyngitis, headache, palpitation, oral candidiasis, dysphonia.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Precautions: During withdrawal of oral corticosteroids, monitor patients for signs of adrenal insufficiency. Periods of stress, trauma, surgery or infection. Advise of risk of immunosuppression. Monitor growth in adolescents. Pregnancy, lactation.

Interactions

Ketoconazole.
