Indications

Prophylaxis and treatment of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy.

Dosage

Adults: Once a day, 1 or 2 tab at bedtime. Children: Not recommended.

Pregnancy: No evidence of risk in humans. Lactation: Contraindicated or not recommended.

MECLIZINE: Onset: Oral: 1 hr. Duration: Oral: 8-24 hr. Absorption: Well absorbed. Metabolism: Hepatic. Half-life elimination: 5-6 hrs. Time to peak, plasma: 1.5-6 hrs. Excretion: Urine (as metabolites). Faeces (as unchanged drug). VITAMIN B6: Absorption: Readily absorbed from the GI tract. Metabolism: Hepatic. Half-life elimination: 15-20 days. Time to peak: 5.5 hrs. Excretion: Urine.
