Indications

Hay fever, rhinitis, urticaria and other allergic conditions.

Dosage

Susp: Children: 5-20 mL daily in divided doses after meals. Tab: Adults: 1-2 tab three times daily.

Adverse Effects

Drowsiness, impaired reactions. Rarely granulocytopenia. Paradoxical excitement in children.

Interactions

Alcohol, CNS depressants, MAOIs.

Advice to Patient

Take with or immediately after meals.

Absorption: Well-absorbed. Half-life elimination: 5.5 hrs.
