Indications
Active immunization against measles, mumps and rubella.
Dosage
One dose of 0.5 mL by single SC inj.
Adverse Effects
Inj site reactions, rash, fever.
Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)
Contraindications: Pregnancy or pregnancy within 1 month of vaccination. Impaired immunity. Precautions: Acute, severe febrile illness, history of convulsions, anaphylactic egg allergy. Evaluate serological status when second dose is due in children who developed thrombocytopenic purpura within 6 weeks of first dose. Lactation.
Interactions
Do not give within 3 weeks of other live vaccines, or within 3 months of blood transfusion or immunoglobulins. Tuberculin test should be done before or simultaneously with vaccination.
