Bronchodilator & Anti-asthma Preps: Inhalants · Anticholinergic, short-acting/Beta-2 agonist
Indications
Management of reversible bronchospasm associated with obstructive airways diseases in patients who require more than a single bronchodilator.
Dosage
Adults: 1-2 rotacap 3 or 4 times daily. Children: 6-12 yr, 1 rotacap 3 times daily.
Adverse Effects
Constipation, dry mouth and urinary retention.
Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)
Contraindications: Patients with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy or tachyarrhythmia. Precautions: Glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy.
