Indications

Topical bacterial infections caused by sensitive organisms and associated with inflammatory and/or allergic conditions of the eye.

Dosage

Oint: Apply a thin film 2-4 times a day depending upon the severity of infections.

Pharmacokinetics

HYDROCORTISONE: Absorption: Well-absorbed into the eye. Systemic absorption is negligible. POLYMYXIN B: Absorption: Not absorbed significantly into the aqueous humor of the eye even when inflammation is present. Excretion: Urine (60%). ZINC BACITRACIN: Duration: 5-8 hrs. Absorption: Poor. NEOMYCIN: Metabolism: Not metabolized. Excretion: Urine.
