Indications

Active immunization against Haemophilus Influenzae Type B.

Dosage

One inj 0.5 mL by SC or IM inj. Primary Vaccination: 2-6 mth age, 3 injections 1-2 mth apart; 6-12 mth age, 2 injections 1-2 mth apart; 1-5 yr age, 1 injection. Booster: One injection 12 mth after third injection of primary vaccination of 2-6 mth babies. Booster of One injection 12 mth after sec injection of primary vaccination of 6-12 mth babies.

Adverse Effects

Local reactions; fever, malaise, rarely neurological disturbances.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to poultry proteins (eggs, feathers), acute febrile illness. Precautions: Pregnancy.
