Anti-rheumatic, Systemic · Glycosaminoglycan (aminoacid)
Indications
Osteoarthritis.
Dosage
Adults: 1 tab/cap/sachet or 10 mL syp three times daily. Children: Not recommended.
Adverse Effects
Nausea, epigastric discomfort, urticaria, pruritus.
Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)
Pregnancy: Risk cannot be ruled out. Lactation: Caution advised or effect undetermined. Precautions: Diabetic patients.
Advice to Patient
Take 15 minutes before meals.

GLUCOSAMINE SULPHATE: Absorption: Oral: Rapidly absorbed. Time to peak, plasma: 15 hrs. CHONDROITIN SULPHATE: Absorption: Absorbed from GI tract. Metabolism: Very complex. Bioavailability: 10%-20%. Time to peak, plasma: Oral: 240 mins. IM: 90 mins. Excretion: Urine.
