Indications

Treatment of refractory or unexplained chronic cough.

Dosage

Adults: 1 tab of 45 mg twice daily. Children: Not recommended.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Contraindications: Pregnancy. Precautions: Severe renal impairment. Lactation.

Advice to Patient

Take tab with or without meals.

Metabolism: Hepatic (minor). Renal (major). Time to peak: 1-4 hrs. Excretion: Urine (~64%). Faeces (~20%).
