Indications

Prevention of pregnancy.

Dosage

Adults: 1 tab daily without interruption. Children: Not recommended.

Adverse Effects

Transient infertility on continuous treatment, irregular, prolonged or heavy vaginal bleeding during first 2 or 3 cycles. Back pain, weight gain, fluid retention.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Contraindications: Hormone dependent carcinoma. Pregnancy, diagnosis or therapy. Precautions: Undiagnosed abnormal vaginal bleeding, severe depression, diabetes. While using as contraceptive wait 6 weeks postpartum if lactating.
