Indications
Fungal and gram-positive bacterial infections of the skin and nails. Fungal otitis externa. Vulvitis; balanitis; treatment of partner to prevent re-infection.
Dosage
Adults & Children: Apply sparingly two or three times daily until two wk after apparent cure.
Adverse Effects
Local mild burning, irritation. Hypersensitivity reactions, erythema or irritation.
Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)
Contraindications: Barrier contraceptives.
Interactions
Tacrolimus, sirolimus.
Advice to Patient
Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands or wear gloves before application. Contact prescriber if there is constant burning, swelling, itching, worsening of condition, or lack of response to treatment.

Absorption: Negligible systemic absorption. Metabolism: Hepatic. Excretion: Urine. Faeces.
