Indications
Treatment of acne vulgaris.
Dosage
Adults and Children =12 yrs: Apply a thin layer (approx. 1 gm) to affected area twice daily (morning and evening). Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. <12 yrs: Not recommended.
Adverse Effects
Erythema/reddening, pruritus and scaling/dryness. Rarely, oedema, stinging and burning.
Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)
Pregnancy: Risk cannot be ruled out. Lactation: Caution advised or effect undetermined. Precautions: Elderly.
Advice to Patient
Before applying cream, gently wash and dry the affected skin area. Wash your hands after applying cream. Avoid cream on skin areas with cuts, abrasions, eczema, or on sunburned skin. Avoid getting cream into your eyes, lips, mouth, corners of the nose, or mucous membranes. If contact with mucous membranes happens, rinse well with water.
