Advice to Patient

For external use only. For cuts, bites, abrasions and insect stings, rinse the area with one tablespoonful of chloroxylenol, diluted in a half pint of water and cover with dry gauze or lint. For urgent application, it may be used undiluted, but not on sensitive skin.

Pharmacokinetics

Absorption: Well-absorbed. Metabolism: Hepatic. Excretion: Urine. Some amounts may be found in bile and traces in exhaled air.
