Indications

Respiratory conditions exacerbated by mucus, COPD, glue ear.

Dosage

Adults: Initially 15 mL three times daily, reducing to 15 mL twice daily once a satisfactory response has been obtained. Children: Under 2 yr: Not recommended. 2 - 5 yr: 2.5 - 5 mL four times daily; 5 - 12 yr: 10 mL three times daily.

Adverse Effects

GI upset, rash.

Contraindications: Active peptic ulcer.
