Indications
Orodental disorders like stomatitis, aphthous ulcers, plaque, gingivitis, oral mucositis, denture ulcers, burning mouth syndrome & oropharyngeal disorders like sore throat, tonsillitis, pharyngitis and part of remedial plan following throat surgery.
Dosage
Adults & Children: Above 6 yr: Rinse the mouth or gargle throat thoroughly for 30 sec to one min and then spit it out. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times a day.
Adverse Effects
Alteration in taste perception, reversible staining of teeth after prolonged use, increased calculus formation.
Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)
Contraindications: Pregnancy, lactation, children below 6 years. Precautions: Avoid eyes. Not to be swallowed.
