Indications

Acne vulgaris, melasma.

Dosage

Adults: To be rubbed into skin twice a day (morning and evening). Children: Not recommended.

Adverse Effects

Application site reactions. Reports of worsening of asthma.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to propylene glycol. Precautions: Avoid contact with eye. If excessive irritation of the skin, reduce to once a day treatment or temporarily interrupt the treatment.

Absorption: Approx. 4% of the topical preparation is systemically absorbed. Metabolism: Negligible cutaneous metabolism. Half-life elimination: Topical: 12 hrs. Excretion: Urine (unchanged).
