Bronchodilator & Anti-asthma Preps: Orals/Parenterals · Xanthine

Indications

Bronchospasm in bronchitis & bronchial asthma, relief of wheezing in bronchitis or tracheobronchitis. Asthma, status asthmatic.

Dosage

Children: 4-12 mth, 2.5 mL 3 times daily; one & half yr to 3 yr, 5 mL 3-4 times daily; 4-7 yr, 10 mL 3-4 times daily. Adults: 15-25 mL, 3-4 times daily.

Risk Factor (Pregnancy/Lactation)

Pregnancy: Risk cannot be ruled out. Lactation: Caution advised or effect undetermined.
